Ascend Revenue Services was proudly founded by Cadria Spencer Hopson, who brings over 15 years of direct, hands-on experience in administrative operations, medical billing, and insurance credentialing across multiple medical offices and insurance carriers.


Her knowledge is built not only from managing complex healthcare workflows but from being immersed in the day-to-day realities that providers and practices face. Cadria remains actively engaged in healthcare operations and is currently pursuing her Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification, with expected completion in Fall 2025, to further deepen her expertise and stay aligned with the evolving standards of healthcare billing and coding.


While Cadria's experience is extensive and service-driven, all information and guidance offered by Ascend should be considered professional support not legal or clinical advice. Clients are encouraged to consult with licensed professionals where applicable.

Ascend Revenue Services (“Ascend”) provides administrative, operational, and business support services to healthcare providers and practice owners. While we aim to simplify and streamline your back-office operations, it is important to clarify the scope of our services and the responsibilities retained by you as the practice owner or authorized representative. 

Scope of Services Provided by Ascend

Ascend offers support in the following areas (including, but not limited to):

  • Individual and group insurance credentialing 
  • CAQH profile creation and maintenance 
  • Payer portal setup and account management 
  • Full-service billing and revenue cycle management
  • Denial resolution and claims follow-up
  • Administrative support (e.g., intake documentation, scheduling templates)
  • Development of administrative / clinical workflows 
  • Practice startup guidance and consulting
  • Reporting and analytics for operational performance
  • Secure client portal access for ongoing communication and documentation
     

All services are tailored to support healthcare business functions and are delivered in accordance with the service plan selected by the client.

Services Not Provided by Ascend

Ascend does not provide the following services under any standard service agreement:

  • Legal advice or contract interpretation
  • Tax filing, bookkeeping, or accounting services
  • HIPAA policy creation or security audits
  • Clinical supervision, licensure support, or CME tracking
  • Professional liability or business insurance procurement 
  • Direct patient communication or medical record management 
  • Negotiation of reimbursement rates or insurance contracts (unless specifically contracted) 
  • IT/EHR setup, integration, or technical support (unless scoped separately)
  • Development of employee handbooks (unless scoped separately)

Client Responsibility and Accountability

By engaging Ascend, you acknowledge and agree that the following are solely your responsibility as the practice owner or authorized party:

  • Ensuring all legal and business registrations are active and compliant
  • Maintaining valid and current licensure and certifications for all providers and staff
  • Reviewing and approving credentialing information before submission
  • Managing HIPAA compliance and internal security procedures
  • Responding to communication and document requests in a timely manner
  • Retaining legal and tax professionals as needed for matters outside of Ascend’s scope
  • Ensuring all submitted data is accurate, truthful, and complete
     

Ascend cannot be held liable for delays, rejections, or service interruptions resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information, lack of client response, or responsibilities not fulfilled by the client.

Acknowledgment

Use of Ascend’s services implies your agreement with the terms of this disclaimer and acknowledgement of your role in maintaining compliance, licensure, and legal business operations. 


If you require additional services beyond this scope, a custom agreement must be established in writing.
